This collection consists of exhibit material from a Montana Historical Society Museum Exhibit entitled "Montana and the Sky, 1885-1930". Included in the material is a promissory note (190?) to Curtiss Airplane Company; cancelled checks (1911?) to Cromwell Dixon; an aviator license (1927) of Frank Wiley; contracts (1912, 1913) concerning the Curtiss Airplane Company and the Montana Aeroplane & Exhibition Company; programs for Miles City Airport dedication in 1928 and for a Charles Lindbergh reception in San Diego, California, in 1927; a posterized photograph (1911) of Cromwell Dixon; and a posterized air show flier (n.d.).
